Spring Fling w/ St. Louis Cellars
Hi everyone, hope all is well with you guys. The weather in The Lou is expected to be beautiful today (in the lower 70’s). I pray that the weekend is as nice. So, what’s going on in your world? I’m trying to stay motivated on all fronts. It’s so important for me to have a life along with all my other duties (mommy, chief bread winner, granddaughter, daughter, sister, pseudo girlfriend etc). I laugh at myself so much because I can’t imagine myself w/out all the things that I have going on, yet, it’s not always pretty.
This weekend though, St. Louis Cellars is throwing a free all day wine tasting event. Dubbed Spring Fling, the event will showcase all their wines, cheeses, chips, and candies. Meet and take pictures with the Easter Bunny (when is Easter anyway?), enjoy live music and sample BBQ as well. This is my kind of event! I’m looking for a few bottles of wine and also, I’d like to make friends & network within the wine industry. It’s all going down this Saturday, March 27, 2010 between 11am-5pm at St. Louis Cellars, 2640 S. Big Bend in The Lou. For more information visit: www.saintlouiscellars.com. Enjoy!!!

Cover Girl’s Smoky Shadow Blast

Happy Tuesday folks! Hope you guys are well! I’m good on this side. Just looking for ways and a means to move forward on a number of fronts (per usual).
I’ve discovered a relatively easy way to make your eyes pop a bit. I’m a pseudo product junky and love to try new things to make my life easier and my out the door time faster. I’m no beauty expert, but, I like to look good without the fuss. Enter Cover Girl’s Smoky Shadow Blast. I really like the simplicity of this product. You can almost complete your eye look with this one little wand. It boasts 2 colors and plenty of sparkle. I’ve tried 4 of the 6 colors and I like. I would definitely use some type of primer or powder to make it last longer and to just tighten your look. The price point for the Smoky Shadow Blast is $7.49 and it’s available at your favorite mass retail outlet (Target, Walgreens, etc) and online at www.covergirl.com. Enjoy!!!

Dove Men + Care for HIM
Happy Thursday!!! And if it’s Thursday, then you must know it’s all about HIM at India’s World. Dove has just launched a range of products specifically for men. It is comprised of 3 body/face washes, 2 bar soaps and one shower tool that are clinically proven to fight skin dryness. Being a slight product junky myself, this is just great (There is nothing like a fresh and clean smelling man). The products come in 3 fragrances: clean comfort, deep clean, and extra fresh. The price point is between $3.89 and $8.69 and is available at Target and other fine retail locations. For more information check: www.dovemencare.com and www.target.com. Enjoy!!!
Erykah Badu on Jimmy Fallon
I don’t know how I missed one of my faves last night on Jimmy Fallon. Erykah Badu performed her new single “Window Seat” and she was backed by Jimmy Fallon’s resident band, The Roots. Window Seat is from her upcoming release New Amerykah Part 2 - The Return of the Ankh. It will drop March 30, 2010. And you know I’m going to be the first one in Target that day (that’s if I don’t get a promo copy). I can’t wait! For more information on Erykah Badu, visit: www.erykah-badu.com. Enjoy!!!!
