There’s no secret that I love boutique hotels and I simply adore the Kimpton Group.  They have the boutique hotel thing down to an art and they have quietly taken over the game here in the US.  I wonder if there’s anybody bigger?  Anywho, they are opening up the newest addition to their already packed suite of hotels in Baltimore.  Hotel Monaco-Baltimore opens July 30, 2009 with grand opening specials ($109 a night) if booked by 7/29 for stays through October 31.  Hotel Monaco-Baltimore is located at the corner of North Charles Street and West Baltimore Avenue right in the heart of downtown Baltimore.  It is in the spot of the old Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.  It will occupy the top seven floors of the building and will house a day spa, a destination restaurant, and 15,000 square feet of meeting space.  All I can say is that the Kimpton Group does every thing classy and big.  From the art, to the ultra modern furnishings, to the amenities, you can never go wrong by staying in one of their hotels.  Trust, the cool factor is way up at their hotels.  You can make it happen in B-more by visiting www.monaco-baltimore.com/.  Check out their other hotels at www.kimptonhotels.com.  Enjoy!!!
