Ledisi in ATL

My favorite singer Ledisi will be hitting the stage in Atlanta on Friday.  I can’t say enough good stuff about this one here.  She’s an awesome “sanger” and just an all around cool person.  It’s going down at the Tabernacle Friday, June 19th.  Tickets are on sale at www.livenation.com and you can check her at www.ledisi.com.  Oh and she’s dropping a new cd August 18, 2009,  Turn it Up, Turn it Loose. Enjoy!!!!!

One Flew South in Atlanta

There’s a new sheriff in town at the Jackson-Hartsfield Airport in Atlanta.  Have you ever been stuck in the airport for an extended layover, or perhaps you missed your flight, or perhaps you’re one of those people, who get to the airport hours before your departure?  One Flew South is the nation’s busiest airport’s first upscale dining experience.  The cuisine is ”Southernational” = international with a southern bend.  What’s most impressive is the SUSHI.  The menu also includes well appointed seafood dishes, chicken, pork belly ( done in a very sophisticated way, no doubt), and beef.  An extensive saki & wine list, and great cocktails make One Flew South a must visit.  The only thing is that you have to have a ticket to get in–a plane ticket that is.  One Flew South is located past security in Concourse E and offers a take away menu as well.  You can make this happen while at the airport and by logging on to www.oneflewsouthatl.com.  Oh and tell them Joy (United Airlines & India’s World) sent you!  They’ll roll out the red carpet for ya! Enjoy!!!
