TGIF!!! Yea, not only is it Friday, but this is THE weekend that kicks off the summer (forget what ya heard)!  I know for many of you that Summer Fridays start today!  For those of you in the publishing industry: it’s great for the folks on the agency side and what not!  but things can get tricky, slow, and just plain quiet on the sales side.  All, I can say is, you better enjoy!!!  Lord knows that I will work an extra couple hours a day just to enjoy a little peace on Summer Friday afternoons!!!

I think one piece swimsuits are getting waay sexy!  With the onset of Summer, I’m thinking, I’m getting a couple of suits this year.  I don’t care how much I’m not ready (but, I’m working on it!!!).  The suits above are all from www.bergdorfgoodman.com.  They have the most adorable swimwear department!  They are not cheap!  But, trust, if you can make it happen, they got it for ya!!!  The colors are bright and the prints are bold (as they should be for fun in the sun).

Happy Tuesday all! I swear, it’s starting to feel a lot like Summer in The Lou.  We got straight 80 degree type of weather going on for like a week and a half straight.  I’m not complaining, because it’s not as hot as it could be.  The humidity level is still very good and rather comfortable.  I’m ready to go straight to flip flops as in the beach or something.

Happy Monday Ya’ll.  Are you as shocked as me as to how fast time is going?  2009 is just about in our rear view mirrors.  I woke up this morning like whew, I gotta make a couple of things happen and must focus in order to do so.  The temp has seriously dropped outside.  I know in the Midwest and in NY temps are in the 30’s.  All I can think of are warm coats.  And I think I like puffer coats.  They are both warm and stylish and are good investments.  Hope you are keeping warm this week.  Enjoy!

             Booties are coming on strong for the Fall.  I thought last year was the year for booties.  Bergdorf’s has all of the above.  Ok, make today the high end version of booties.  I’ll do a lower end and perhaps a patent story soon.  I have to giggle because I’ve always liked ankle boots.  They are so great for dark tights in the fall and winter.  I think my eye will be peeled for a couple of pair for this season.  I won’t be breaking the bank, that’s for sure.  More information on the above can be found at www.bergdorfgoodman.com.  Happy Monday and happy shopping!!!
