Govino Wine Glasses
Here’s a toast to the summer! Hope you all are well. Please pardon my absence. I’m developing a solid editorial schedule and that will help me with more frequent posts. I’m also still looking for writers/interns to assist with content and edit. Please forward all inquiries to press@indias-world.com.
I’m always looking for inspiration to make India’s World happen. I came across these lovely wine glasses within the past week and they made my design bell go off (lol). They are shatterproof, reusable, recyclable, and very cute. I’m very much in like with the thumb notch. Price point here is $13.99 for a 4 pack. They are excellent for outdoor dining/entertaining and are available at St. Louis Cellars in The Lou. Check www.saintlouiscellars.com for more information and contact. Enjoy!!!
Glass Snob

I think I’ve always been a bit of a glass snob. It may have started when I had my first glass of wine many, many, many years ago. Or perhaps it started as a child, I’ve always liked and been attracted to odd and different things. The glasses that I like most are the ones that have a bit of weight and character to them (most would call it design). If I had it my way, I would probably have hundreds of glasses. But, in these economic times, I wouldn’t dare. But, I always have my eye out for them, just in case I see something I must have. Pictured above, I think I like 2, 3, and 4 the most. I think the last trend in glasses I have noticed, has been the stemless variety. Still with those, I just have to have the weight and of course a bit of design. You can make any of the above happen by contacting: (1) the Globe, $50 for a set of 4, at Property (917) 273-0123, (2) Marcel, 11.95 each at www.crateandbarrel.com, (3) 5.95 each at www.mxyplyzyk.com, (4) $6 each at www.pier1.com, and (5) Gigi, $4.95 each at www.cb2.com. Happy Monday and happy shopping!!!!
